Staying on TRAC with Telehealth - Great Plains Telehealth Resource and Assistance Center Conference
The Great Plains TRAC will hold its annual regional telehealth conference. This multi-state telehealth conference will feature outstanding speakers and panelists from around the region and nationally, providing an exceptional opportunity for attendees to exchange dialogue about successful telehealth programs and collaborating networks that work.
Topics will include: an introduction to the Great Plains TRAC, clinical applications, sustainability, distance education, networking, financial opportunities and much more. · 06/03/2008 - Sixth Annual Symposium on Small Towns, June 3-4.
The Power of Small: Building Solutions for Energy Self-Reliance. There are many self-reliant approaches to small-scale food, fuel, and power systems for schools and local governments. Come to this event to learn about the social, economic, environmental, and political factors that surround the building of these systems. The focus for this event is providing solutions for colleges/universities, P-12 schools, and local governments. Networking, mentoring, and educational opportunities will be provided.
Hosted by the University of Minnesota, Morris Center for Small Towns, in partnership with Minnesota Public Radio and the University of Minnesota Regional Sustainable Development Partnerships. Keynote address by Peter Hutchinson, Bush Foundation. Space is limited, please sign up early!

· 06/10/2008 - Nonprofit Leadership Conference, June 10-11
Tues: 1-4:45 pm, Weds: 8-11:45 am
Ingredients for Nonprofit Success is the theme of this year's conference. Attendees can save $50 by registering before May 15. The conference will bring together nonprofit staff, board members and volunteers from across the state to participate in educational sessions and to network and exchange ideas with nonprofit sector, government and private industry colleagues. It's hosted by the North Dakota Association of Nonprofit Organizations.
The conference rate is $100 for NDANO members, $150 for nonmembers and $50 for full-time students until early bird registration ends on May 15 (rates after 5/15 are $150/200/100). · 06/13/2008 - 51st Annual Minnesota Inventors Congress Invention Exposition, June 13-14.
The Minnesota Inventors Congress hosts this annual event where inventors test market their products; and if they have market-ready products, they can sell them in their booth. Inventing Success" Workshops Friday sessions: 8:00 a.m (this sesssion FREE for MIC Exhibitors), 12:00 p.m. & 2:00 p.m. Saturday sessions: 8:00 a.m.(this session is FREE for MIC Exhibitors), 12:00 p.m. & 2:00 p.m. " Cost is $20 per workshop payable at the door. There is no pre-registration for these workshops. " Workshops held in the Redwood Area Community Center. " Presented by the MIC and the US Small Business Administration.

· 07/14/2008 - Invest North Dakota, May 14-17.
Annual event sponsored by The ND Securities Department for all North Dakota teachers and administrators from elementary through high school. Invest North Dakota is a 4-day seminar designed to assist teachers in presenting personal finance in the classroom. Participants are required to attend all sessions and complete an evaluation in order to earn two (2) graduate credits (S/U grading) of continuing education.

· 07/15/2008 - Biomass '08: Power, Fuels and Chemicals Workshop , July 15-16
The Biomass '08 Workshop will offer an intense two-day technical program focused on the opportunities for the utilization of biomass (i.e., plant matter such as straw, corn, and wood residue) for power, transportation fuels, and chemicals. . The workshop will be geared toward industry, research entities, government, community and economic development corporations, financial institutions and landowners.
