Monty 'Hawkeye' Henson to appear at anniversary party at Casey Tibbs South Dakota Rodeo Center on June 5

Three time world champion, and Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame inductee, Monty “Hawkeye” Henson will entertain visitors and rodeo fans during the upcoming Anniversary Branding Party at the Casey Tibbs South Dakota Rodeo Center, on June 5th. Monty has appeared in the HBO series Deadwood as well as numerous other films, his country music and entertaining stories will be a highlight of the day for visitors of all ages.

Additionally, from 9am-5pm in the center conference room, . the celebration will feature numerous SD exhibitors offering jewelry, accessories, artwork, sculptures, home décor, handcrafted oak furnishings, and South Dakota specialty packaged foods.

From 11:00 – 5:00 pm hundreds of South Dakota brand owners branding irons in hand, will permanently embed their cattle or horse brand onto the large walkway timbers of the rodeo center entrance. .

All of these activities will culminate at the 18th annual Match of Champions at the Ft. Pierre Fairgrounds starting at 7:30PM featuring 25 of the top saddle bronc riders against some of the top broncs in the region. .
