Columbia Mall stores expand and remodel in Grand Forks, ND
By: Press Release, Columbia Mall
GRAND FORKS, ND - Driven by customer demand, one of Columbia Mall’s most popular merchants is expanding and remodeling its store. And another store is getting a new look.
National retailer Bath & Body Works is expanding by more than 50 percent to 2,950-square feet and revamping the store’s look while MasterCuts also is remodeling its store.
Bath & Body Works new décor includes a new color palette and layout that invites customers to explore an expanded array of personal care products.
The remodeled store is scheduled to reopen late June in its original space between Claire’s and Spencer’s Gifts in the mall’s west wing. While the remodeling work is underway, the store is temporarily located next to Journeys shoes in the Sears wing.
MasterCuts is revamping its salon to evoke a modern, contemporary look that includes a new color scheme, fixtures and beauty stations. The new “do” includes ivory tile and light wood plank flooring, extensive use of glass and chrome, new pendant light fixtures and a gloss white, warm gold and burnt red color palette.
The beauty salon, located near the Dakota Café and Macy’s, will reopen Friday, May 28 to offer hair care services including haircuts, styling and coloring to its legions of customers.
“We welcome MasterCuts revamp and Bath & Body Work’s expansion,” said Bill Reid, Columbia Mall general manger. “Bath and Body Works is very popular as evidenced by the lines of shoppers that often wind through the store and out into the mall. Its popularity far exceeded the size and capabilities of the store’s former size and layout,” he added.
“Expansions and store remodels are also a sign that national retailers have strong confidence in Columbia Mall and the Grand Forks community by investing in their stores,” Reid said.
The newly remodeled Bath & Body Works will have a sophisticated and fresh palette of midnight blue and vanilla with warm wood accents on the cabinetry and fixtures.
Bath & Body Works is known for its Signature Collection products that range from shower gels to body lotions to home fragrances at affordable prices.
In the expanded store, shoppers will find spa products, professional skincare, hair care, manicure and pedicure supplies, and bath accessories. Favorite labels include True Blue Spa, Aromatherapy and C.O. Bigelow.
