WADENA, Minn. – Mark Anderson already flies planes and makes laws for a living.
During an interview Monday, the Republican state representative from rural Cass County said he plans to open a microbrewery on the northern shore of Gull Lake in 2014.
Anderson said he’s been working on the business plan for about two years and has secured the trademark for Gull Dam Brewing.
“By the summertime, you can order up a Gull Dam beer,” he said with a chuckle.
Anderson’s district stretches across most of Todd County, southern Cass County and includes all but the northernmost Wadena County townships.
